The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
